A photograph of a young female surfer, under one arm is a pink surfboard, in her other hand, is a globe. The picture is taken at sunset so the image has the warm glow of twilight.

As part of Bondi Pavilion Gallery’s summer exhibition Rise and Fall by Karla Dickens, we are proud to present a special screening and workshop. Led by Andrew Kidman and Reverse Garbage, these events explore climate change and environmental issues through the lens of the ocean.

Join us for a screening of Earth Ball – a short film by cult surfing film maker Andrew Kidman followed by a globe making and recycled sculpture workshop where you can make your own earth ball using recycled materials, including paper mache and biodegradable inks. The earth balls made in the workshop will be scooped up in a specially woven net made from recycled materials and placed on display as part of the exhibition Rise and Fall in Bondi Pavilion Gallery.

This special screening and workshop will be introduced by Andrew Kidman.
